Jenny's Journey

A home for the quiet parts of becoming. The reflections, the questions, the moments of clarity, and the moments of not knowing. Here, you’ll find personal journals, short audio reflections, and in-between thoughts from my own healing journey. This space exists for those of us learning to meet ourselves where we are, instead of waiting until we feel put together.

Sunset Reflections

Grounded reflections and short audio moments about healing, boundaries and becoming. These are gentle check-ins and honest thoughts you can return to when you need something steady and real.

Porch Swing Stories

This one balances reflection and everyday life. Quiet thoughts and real life moments shared along the way. A place to pause, laugh, reflect and sit with whatever life brings.

Tuesday Tea

A quiet porch swing moment delivered to your inbox each week. Tuesday Tea is where I share reflections from my healing journey, the thoughts sitting on my heart and the small truths that help us move forward.

Why the Porch Swing?

The porch swing has always meant something to me. For years I dreamed about a house with a wraparound porch and a swing hanging from the ceiling where life could slow down for a while. I used to imagine sitting there with sweet tea, watching the sunset and talking about life with the people I loved. Life didn’t unfold the way I once imagined, but the meaning behind that porch swing never disappeared.

To me, the porch swing represents a place to pause, reflect and tell the truth about where life has taken us. It is the quiet space where healing begins and where we remember that rebuilding a life happens one honest moment at a time. Whether your porch swing is a real swing, a quiet room, a walk outside or simply a moment to breathe, this space is meant to feel like sitting down beside someone who understands. You’re welcome here.
